When it comes to role models in the kingdom of Thailand, the story of Pantainorasingh, a Royal Boat steersman during King Sanphet VIII's reign (1703-1709), comes to mind for his selfless act of honesty and integrity. Our company follows this ethos, which is why he graces our brand emblem and has a place on every delicious item we offer.

HIS WORD

Pantainorasingh was a legendary figure from the Ayutthaya period who served as the coxswain of King Sanphet VIII's royal barge. His honesty & integrity made him famous, when an accident occurred on the royal barge he was steering during the King's fishing trip in 1704 caused damage to the boat.

According to ancient monarch law, this led to punishment by execution. Although he was granted a pardon by the King, Pantainorasingh's heroic decision to sacrifice himself to beheading in order to maintain integrity to the law made him a historical figure revered by future generations for being
"True To His Word"
